Circle S.p.A. (“Circle”), company headed by the homonymous group, specialized in the analysis and development of automation and digitalization solutions for the port sectors and intermodal logistics, listed on the AIM Italia market, organized and managed by Borsa Italiana, communicates its participation in the organisation of BiLOG 2019 – Logistics and Maritime Forum.
The event, today in its second edition, is promoted by the Port System Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea, and will take place in La Spezia on October 16th and 17th at the LaSpeziaExpò exhibition complex. “The sustainable, resilient and connect- ed road to 2030”: this is the title chosen for BiLOG 2019, which has also received the patronage of the EU Parliament and the approval of President David Sassoli. The works will be opened on October 16th by Iveta Radičová, EU Coordinator for the Mediterranean Corridor.
Circle has developed a dedicated team organising international events. Thanks to its experience and its deep knowledge of the matter, Circle manages the organisation of the event together with Blue Hub, the Special Agency of the Camera di Commercio Riviere di Liguria which works for the internationalization of SMEs and local institutions.
The forum will be the occasion to analyze the dual regional and international dimension of the ports and the national logistics world, improving the knowledge of the transport and investment policy at European level. The main topics of the 2019 edition of BiLOG indicate all the contemporary and future challenges of the shipping and maritime and intermodal transport sectors, including alternative fuels and bio- based products, technological innovation, the review of TEN-T networks. And again, the overall digitalisation of the sector, Horizon Europe and CEF 2, the topics of First and Last railway miles.
Circle is expanding its international competences and partnerships, especially focusing on the IoT, Big Data Management, Robotics and Digital Twin perspectives, and for this reason the overall organisation of the event will pay particular attention to the digitalisation of the maritime and port world, to the new challenges and solutions in the IT world.
